Our Vision

That by helping families cope with Traumatic Brain Injury, they may have a transformational experience centered on faith, and inspired by hope and love.

Our Mission is to help families navigate through a life-changing injury so that they may find joy in the adversity.

Letter from the Drakes

Our daughter, Mary was critically injured in an automobile accident in November of 2009. We never wanted to give much thought as to how long this journey might last. While there have been ups and downs, the progress that Mary has made continues to bolster our faith, hope and trust in Jesus’ healing grace.

Jesus told his followers at the Sermon on the Mount; “Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted”, and “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” We feel called to perpetuate the boundless love of God that we experienced, as we were enveloped by family, friends, church and community.

Our own encounter inspired our determination to create an organization which will help other families cope with a traumatic brain injury; to come to find as we have, that there is hope in laughter, that God is love, and that “all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.”

Moved by Mary’s courage, and perseverance, and the number of miracles we have already witnessed, we decided the name of the organization would honor her - that somehow and in some way, through the love we share, miracles will happen for others.

God is good…all the time!
